Before you pack
What we sharpen
Carbide-tipped table, miter, circular, panel, and cold-saw blades are the core work. Dado sets and a lot of shop tooling can ride in the same box. Prices below are the jobs we see most. Last price check: August 20, 2026.
Usually worth sending
Premium carbide blades, dado sets, specialty grinds, and several dull blades from the same shop sharing the shipping cost.
Ask before shipping
A brake activation, multiple missing teeth, a questionable plate, or an unusual industrial blade. A clear photo can save the trip.
Replacement may make more sense
A low-cost disposable blade may not justify two-way shipping by itself. Cracked plates and the blades we don't take should stay home.
Cape Coral shop
The box comes here. Checked in under your name at the Cape Coral shop, evaluated before any extra repair, then cleaned, ground, inspected, and wax coated for the trip home.
Dull, dirty, or damaged
Check the blade before you box it
Pitch can mimic a dull edge. Some damage needs a look, not another cut.
- Clean it first. Heavy pitch or resin makes heat and drag. Clean the blade, make a test cut, then judge the edge.
- Still burning after cleaning. Scorch marks or smoke from a clean tooth means the carbide is rubbing.
- The cut takes more effort. More feed pressure than you used to need is a shop-floor sign the edge has rounded over.
- The blade chatters. New noise can be uneven wear, a damaged tooth, or a blade that needs a closer look.
- A tip is chipped or missing. Take it out of the saw. Mark the tooth and tell us in the box.
- The plate looks cracked or warped. Stop using it. Call before you ship.

In the carton
Keep the teeth off each other
Use the original blade boxes when you still have them. Otherwise put rigid cardboard between blades, lock the stack so it cannot shift, and make sure carbide teeth cannot strike each other on the truck.
Dado sets count as one blade toward the shipping tier. Other tooling counts two pieces as one blade. Prepaid labels cover the lower 48. Ask us about Alaska and Hawaii.
